Our Story

Every great idea starts with a conversation, and ours began over a cup of coffee.

We are two mothers who, like so many parents, absolutely loved dressing up our daughters. Every birthday, every holiday, every little milestone seemed like the perfect excuse for a new outfit. Watching them grow was beautiful—but they grew so quickly! Before we knew it, those adorable dresses, trendy tops, and favourite outfits no longer fit.

Soon, our wardrobes were overflowing with clothes that had been worn only a handful of times. They were still beautiful, still in excellent condition, and we couldn't bear to simply pack them away or throw them out.

As we sat chatting that day in the coffee shop, we asked ourselves a simple question: There has to be a better way.

What if these clothes could find a second home? What if another child could love them just as much? What if shopping could be kinder—to our wallets and to our planet?

That conversation became the beginning of Thrift Town.

What started as a small idea between two friends has grown into something much bigger—a community built on sharing, sustainability, and the joy of giving beautiful clothes a second life. We believe that fashion doesn't have to be brand new to be special. Every piece has a story, and we're here to help it continue.

At Thrift Town, every item is chosen with care, because we know these aren't just clothes—they're memories waiting to become someone else's favourites.
